Practice policies
Clear expectations before booking an advisory visit.
These policies explain how BridgeCare handles booking, payment, rescheduling, secure intake, and non-emergency advisory boundaries.
Not emergency care. For urgent symptoms, rapid worsening, or a same-day clinical decision, contact 911, the treating clinician, the facility nurse/clinician, or the emergency department.
Booking
BridgeCare begins with a no-PHI fit screen and then uses secure booking for appointment logistics, payment, and the next secure-intake handoff. The public booking flow is for broad, non-identifying information only. Records and detailed medical facts are not collected in public forms.
Payment
Payment is required at booking for the selected BridgeCare advisory service. Payment and booking fields should use generic service names only and should not include records, patient identifiers, medication lists, facility names, hospital names, exact dates, photos, or urgent symptoms.
Rescheduling
If a visit needs to be moved, BridgeCare may need to confirm timing and scope before rescheduling, especially after secure intake has started.
Cancellation
Cancellation rules follow the applicable scheduling and service agreement. If a request appears outside advisory scope before review begins, BridgeCare may decline or cancel the visit and provide the appropriate next-step direction.
Secure intake
Records are handled only through the approved secure workflow after paid booking, consent, and privacy steps are confirmed. Do not email records or protected information. Secure intake may ask for the requestor's name plus email or mobile number before the secure form opens.
Advisory scope
BridgeCare helps organize the medical story and prepare questions for the treating team. BridgeCare does not replace the treating team, provide emergency care, or manage same-day clinical changes.
Communication
Ordinary email is appropriate only for broad logistics and non-identifying fit-screen messages. Do not use email, public forms, or website messages for urgent symptoms or protected records.
